Diversifying in challenging times
Finding new revenue streams can be a great way to keep your business afloat in difficult times such as these. With COVID-19 forcing many businesses to modify operations or shut down altogether, Kinetic had to be creative with bringing in business.
Rather than looking at what roles were not coming through due to recruitment freezes, at Kinetic we broadened our service offering to include new industries, starting with our first new division; Kinetic IT.
We now have two highly experienced IT specialist consultants based in Auckland and Wellington working with our clients who have not used Kinetic for IT recruitment before.
During disruption, it’s critical for businesses to be agile and adaptive. For us it was about identifying our client needs and being there to support them.
Growth and demand in the medical sector sparked further diversification and the launch of Kinetic Med, with two specialist consultants working on clinical and non-clinical roles, covering all medical needs.
The biggest growth area for is us is Kinetic Blue, which covers blue collar roles. We have hired two experienced consultants to look after our growing portfolio of clients in this sector.
This has enabled Kinetic to grow into markets of current growth, with highly talented consultants who have worked in these sectors for years – they are good!
Not only have our new consultants brought a wealth of experience with them but also new energy and ideas to complement what is already a fabulous team. The injection of new people and diversifying has been a big morale boost, there’s nothing like expanding and offering new services in times like these.
Difficult times often lead to change in the way business operate, so it’s time to try Kinetics new specialist service offerings and receive that consistent high-level of service we pride ourselves on.
